- Speaker: Professor Jean Pierre Segal, member of a CNRS (National center of Scientific Research of France) project sponsored by AFD (Agence Francaise de Developpement, French Agency of Development)

Brief presentation: “Management tools teach everywhere around the world in business school generally come out set their own cultural context (USA, Japan, France, etc.). They need generally to be fit to their new cultural context, particularly in developing countries. The workshop will present a new conception of culture – consistent with the latest approach in anthropology. Then it will show what kind of relation we observe between “culture” and “universal way of management” (generally teach as “best practices”).
