The goal of this conference is to provide the opportunity for Educators, Researchers and Business Leaders from around the world in both Academia and in Industry, to meet and discuss the extent to which education plays a role in raising awareness of environmental issues, the forming of attitudes which effect behavior, and the development and use of technology which minimizes risks to the environment. The conference hopes to attract both scholars and business interests of all nationalities. While the primary language for this international conference will be English, the conference will accommodate Vietnamese language submissions, presentations and participants.  

Conference Venue (preliminary plans)

• The first day of the conference (July 21, 2010) will be held at Hoa Sen University in Ho Chi Minh City.
• The second day of the conference will allow the option of a Visit to Phu An Village of Bamboo, Binh Duong province or a Fieldtrip to Long Xuyen City in An Giang Province. The Third day will be conducted at An Giang University in the Mekong Delta with key activities being telecasted to Hoa Sen University for participants who are staying in the City.
  

 
Call for abstracts and papers

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings which will be available at the beginning of the conference.  Papers which meet the conference goals will be selected for presentation; all presentations should be in English.

1．Paper topics
Environmental Issues (how to Provide Education about and Raise Awareness of), Attitudes towards the Environment (what it means to be Environmentally Friendly), Protection of the Environment (Technology Development and Deployment), and Environmental Challenges in Vietnam.

2． Paper format

• 3,000 to 6,000 words, double space using Times Roman Font 12 pt; APA style
   

3． Paper deadline

• Abstract submissions (no more than 200 words) – April 15, 2010
• Deadline for Paper Submissions –May 15, 2010 (No papers accepted after deadline)
